Take Action To Protect Funding for Medicaid (MA)

Minnesotans affected by brain injury depend on Medical Assistance

Tell Your Elected Officials To Protect Medicaid

Based on recent public statements from Republican leaders in Washington DC, it is clear that they are seeking deep cuts to Medicaid and other safety net programs to pay for their policy agenda that includes tax breaks for the wealthy built on the backs of seniors, low income families and people with disabilities.

Take action now to help prevent cuts and caps to Medicaid. Tell your representatives you want them to protect Medicaid and oppose any legislation that seeks to cap, cut, or block grant Medicaid funds.

We need our elected officials to clearly understand what MA means to people with brain injury and other disabilities and what the devastating consequences of cuts would be directly on peoples lives. This is not about numbers on a spreadsheet or abstract concepts of government formulas and funding. It is about real people and the challenges they face living with brain injury and the importance of Medicaid supports and services to their quality of life.

We encourage you to share your personal MA story by using this advocacy system to send a message to your elected officials.

Use our template on the right to share what MA means in your life. Add your name and address then type in your personal story where it says "...this is my story..." It will automatically go to your personal representatives in Washington DC and St. Paul when you push the blue "send message" button on the bottom right.
