Support WUMCO grant and Community Center

As you know, the Fair Access Committee has been working in support of two key budget items that are currently before the County Council. They have just been voted out of two committees and will be considered by the full Council in a few weeks. One is a program to provide $230,000 to our local charitable services WUMCO to provide medical and dental services to needy Western County residents. The second is funding for a construction project to build a new Community Center and clinic for the Western County located in Poolesville to serve our youth, seniors, and families.

In the past, emails from our community have helped persuade the County Council to support projects like our new high school. Please take a minute to click to send your note to our Council and urge their support of these two important programs. It makes a big difference. Thank you.
