New Hardwood Access Bill Supports Industry 

Please join a bipartisan group of your House colleagues by signing onto H.R. 6880, the Hardwood Access and Development Program Act, a bill that will promote the manufacture of sustainable wood products in our state, providing jobs in rural and underserved communities.  H.R. 6880 will provide essential funding to facilitate the development and sharing of science-based data that supports the hardwood sector’s claims as one of the most environmentally friendly building materials available to consumers.
 
Through enactment of H.R. 6880, both U.S. and international customers will learn about the carbon storage benefits of hardwood products when choosing cabinets, furniture and flooring, among other fixtures in their homes.
