Join us in giving thanks to our New York City Council Members for securing the funding necessary to grow and maintain our programming! With their generous support listed in the 2027 Adopted City Budget, we received the largest allocation of funding to date for NAMI-NYC's Peer and Youth Programs.&nbsp;
This will allow us to provide even more support to New Yorkers across the city and strengthen our programmatic capabilities. We will continue working with the Council to champion vital mental health policies, allowing us to expand our care to more of their constituents.&nbsp;

Congratulations on passing the FY 2027 Adopted City Budget! As an advocate with the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City, I deeply appreciate your choice to support the inclusion of funding for our mental health programming. This will have a positive impact on improving mental health supports and education for New Yorkers throughout the city. 

The generous allocations in the enacted budget will bring the organization closer to its vision of a world where all people affected by mental illness live healthy, fulfilling lives supported by a community that cares.
