Tell Congress - Don't Cut Critical Water Infrastructure Investments

Ask Congress to Maintain Critical Infrastructure Funding in Continuing Resolution

Congress is currently working on a continuing resolution funding package to keep the government open through December 4th. It is important that this package not cut existing funding for critical infrastructure and water programs.

Communities across the country continue to replace aging roads and bridges, modernize drinking water and wastewater systems, improve stormwater infrastructure, and remove dangerous lead service lines. Delays in federal funding create uncertainty that can postpone projects, increase construction costs, disrupt supply chains, and threaten skilled construction jobs. Right now, the proposed continuing resolution includes steep cuts to important infrastructure and water programs.

A continuing resolution that includes advanced appropriations for infrastructure funding would keep transportation projects on schedule, protect investments in clean water, drinking water, and wastewater infrastructure, and support continued replacement of lead service lines.

Please join NUCA in asking Congress not to cut funding for essential infrastructure and water programs.
