Let me first thank you for stepping into public service and being a champion for “we, the people”. 

I am one of your constituents and I’m an active voter. I am greatly concerned about all of the outside money pouring into Wisconsin elections. Out-of-state special interests and even foreign entities are pouring vast sums of money into our elections​. Their influence is drowning out the voices of real Wisconsinites and undermining the trust we have in our democracy.

I urge you to support SJR 58 & AJR 57 to help restore Wisconsin’s right to regulate campaign spending​. This vital legislation would give us — not Washington, not billionaires — the ability to protect the integrity of our elections.

I’m reaching out to you today because I’m concerned about outside political spending in Wisconsin. If you’re like me, you’re tired of elections that are filled with endless attack ads, misinformation, and nasty political fights. Sadly, much of that ugliness isn't even funded by people who live here.

Foreign entities and out-of-state billionaires are able to pour millions into Wisconsin elections​ — bankrolling smear campaigns, disinformation, and fear-mongering. Their goal isn't to inform voters — it’s to divide us, confuse us, and control the outcomes.

AJR 57 & SJR 58 work toward restoring Wisconsin’s right to regulate campaign spending​. It would give us the ability to set fair rules again — to fight back against dark money and clean up our elections​.

When elections are dominated by dark money and outside groups, the voices of real Wisconsinites get drowned out. Our political debates become uglier, meaner, and further detached from the issues that truly matter to our communities.

Wisconsin elections should NOT be for sale!

For those of us who believe in liberty, limited government, and state sovereignty, what's happening to our elections should concern us deeply. Right now, Wisconsin does not have the full authority to protect our elections from untraceable money flooding in from foreign sources and out-of-state billionaires.

When unelected interests with zero ties to Wisconsin can spend unlimited money to influence local elections, it’s not just a threat to fair representation — it’s a direct assault on the self-governance this country was built on.

The good news? There’s a path forward. The Wisconsin legislature can pass SJR 58 & AJR 57 — to restore our state’s right to regulate campaign spending and block foreign influence. 

This isn’t a partisan issue. 78% of Wisconsinites — Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike — support such a resolution. It’s about reclaiming control over our institutions and making sure Wisconsin voters — not outside money — decide Wisconsin elections.
