The SAVE Act and Voter ID legislation is moving through Congress again. It is being promoted on the basis of false election security claims by the administration.
Use our quick and easy form to contact your Congressional representatives and ask them to VOTE NO on restrictive voter ID requirements that are currently being proposed for the November election.
If you’ve already reached out to your legislators, then <a href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5eb87706d3837677cd92bc85/t/68962146158e5418e18248e3/1754669382928/US+Elected+Officials+Contact+List-2.pdf" target="_blank">call up Congressional leadership</a> ! You can reach out to Congressional leaders even if you are not in their districts.

As your constituent, I implore you to oppose any legislation requiring ID to vote. It is already illegal to cast a fraudulent ballot by impersonating a voter. Requiring a strict list of IDs to vote in federal elections is a blatant attempt to silence and divide us.

Identification requirements at the polls discriminate against women, disabled Americans, Black and Hispanic Americans, and young Americans, and burden voters with the need to spend scarce funds on obtaining the identification.

The right to vote is protected by the Constitution, and election officials have decades of experience verifying voters’ identities at the polls using a variety of documents. Please ensure that every eligible US citizen has the freedom to vote unimpeded by discriminatory rules rooted in fear and division.

At minimum, identification requirements must not be implemented before the November 3, 2026 election in order to avoid confusion, and to avoid placing a burden on voters and local issuing authorities on short notice.
