I’m writing today to ask you to address the issue of legal system abuse in California. This is a growing problem that plagues our state and drains vital economic resources.

In fact, legal system abuse costs every Californian over $2,566 per year, drains resources, and costs nearly 851,000 jobs annually across our state. Comprehensive legal reforms must be enacted NOW to fix our economy and make California more competitive.

I urge you and your fellow lawmakers to address this issue during the 2026 General Assembly and put money back in the wallets of your constituents, not the pockets of California’s billboard attorneys.
