We will address issues such as the role of entrepreneurs in the promotional products industry, the costs associated with complex global supply chains, and of course, how uniquely effective Promotional Products Work. 
We are asking you to bolster your industry colleagues’ messages by emailing your members of Congress to express support for the same issues we will address during our in-person meetings. This setup enables participation in this event without traveling to D.C.

It is imperative that Congress hears our industry's voice this week.

Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) is celebrating its annual Legislative Education and Action Day, which is an industry-wide event dedicated to taking our industry’s message to Capitol Hill, highlighting the power of promotional products and the impact they create.

Promotional products are logoed or imprinted items that educate, recruit, and highlight critical messages regarding a broad range of initiatives including government services, organ donations, and healthy lifestyle choices, among others. They also recognize and reward employee achievements and are used to celebrate milestones and sign legislation. One key point is that promo products are essential for inspiring desired behaviors - ranked the #1 most effective form of advertising to prompt action across every generation.

There are more than 38,000 promotional products companies in the United States, generating $26 billion in annual revenues and employing nearly 500,000 Americans. More than 98 percent of the companies in the promotional products industry are considered to be small businesses.

Numerous studies have shown promotional products have a unique connection to human memory and are the #1 most effective form of advertising to prompt action across all generations. Adding a message to a tangible product turns an ordinary communication into a marketing experience that engages all five of the recipient’s senses. Our industry’s products are the most cost-effective method to market goods and services, especially for smaller businesses that have fewer advertising dollars at their disposal.

Any time you’re contemplating how a policy affects small businesses, please consider us as well. Our industry is comprised of 98% small firms processing an average order size of under $550, and that collectively generates annual industry revenues of over $26 billion. Costly tariffs and bewildering labor policies disproportionately impact small businesses in our industry and stifle job development and economic growth.
