Maryland’s Sellinger Program provides essential funding that helps St. John's College provide additional financial aid to our Maryland students. Right now, lawmakers are contemplating cutting funding for the Sellinger program in HALF! This would be devastating to our existing students and our recruitment efforts. 
We need the help of our alumni to protect this valuable program. We need legislators to hear directly from you that now is not the time to cut the Sellinger funding that helps support students at St. John's College.

I am a graduate of St. John's College and I'm deeply concerned about the proposed cuts to the Sellinger Program. St. John's College has made invaluable contributions to the State of Maryland and it is disappointing to hear that the State is considering turning its back at a time when higher education is facing unprecedented pressures.      

The Sellinger Program helped 5,000+ Maryland students afford college this year. Maryland needs a highly educated workforce to help grow our economy. Please reject any cuts to Sellinger and continue the nearly half century legacy of this Program between the State and its independent institutions.
