Dear Office Holder (names will be automatically added on each email),

The disabled community in MA is at risk.

    Take action

Bills S.1384 / H.2381, relative to end of life options, aim to legalize the dangerous practice of assisted suicide in MA. We already know from states like Oregon and Washington, where assisted suicide is legal, that this policy endangers disabled people and puts us at risk of dying not because of illness, but because of societal stigma around disability. If Massachusetts legalizes assisted suicide, some people’s lives will be ended without their consent, through insurance denials, mistakes and all the various forms of coercion and abuse. No safeguards have ever been enacted, or even proposed, that can prevent this outcome which can never be undone.
