Increased Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) Penalties Threaten Virginia Retailers

Some lawmakers in Congress are trying to insert some of the most damaging fines against retailers and other businesses into the budget reconciliation bill.

Help us call on Senator Mark Warner to oppose these efforts and help protect businesses of all sizes throughout the Commonwealth and across the country.

After not securing the votes to pass the anti-business “Protecting the Right to Organize Act” (PRO Act), some lawmakers in Congress are trying to insert some of the most damaging fines against retailers and other businesses into the budget reconciliation bill. If enacted, these fines could be devastating for local Virginia business owners and would give unions more leverage to force unionization onto workers and workplaces alike.

These fines include penalties of up to $50,000 for each ULP, no matter how minor or frivolous.

Please review and edit your message as you see fit, and speak out to protect Virginia retailers today.
