EPA makes housing Impossible

Zero Tolerance is a costly fantasy

Share a Public Comment for EPA Zero Lead Dust proposal

The EPA has proposed the reduction of acceptable lead levels in homes down to zero. Lead is a naturally occurring substance that exists in the air, soil, and environment. Lead can easily be spread from neighboring buildings, carried in on clothing, or tracked in by pets.

Holding housing providers responsible for regulating what our residents do or how they clean their home to keep this material out of the home is an undue burden.

Please help us inform the EPA that housing providers are taking lead poisoning seriously and are combatting it the best we can. However, a zero tolerance policy on something we cannot control is an unfair expectation.

Three easy steps: 1. Enter your information so our system can match the EPA form. 2. Customize a subject line or personal message at the end if you'd like. 3. Send off the pre-written message in the gray box to the EPA forum. It's that easy to influence change!!
