Today, the U.S. Senate passed its version of the FY25 budget reconciliation bill by a vote of 50-50, with Vice President Vance breaking the tie. The three Senate Republicans to vote against the bill were Senators Paul (R-KY), Tillis (R-NC) and Collins (R-ME).&nbsp;
However, the fight to preserve Medicaid is not over! The bill must now pass in the House of Representatives. Several House Republicans have already voiced strong concerns over the deep cuts the Senate bill will enact. Write your first or hundreth letter today. Your voice matters!&nbsp;

Please oppose the cuts to Medicaid that are included in the Senate bill! These cuts will squeeze state budgets putting scarce resources and services in competition, which will result in fewer services and longer waitlists. The legislation as drafted would make unprecedented cuts of $930 billion to Medicaid, further and deeper cuts than what originally passed through the House. These cuts will greatly impact the ability of people with disabilities to get care, jobs, transportation and access to resources.
