Encourage Congress to Future Proof the American Workforce with XR

Encourage Congress to include the bipartisan "Immersive Technology for the American Workforce Act of 2023" (H.R.3211), in the "Stronger Workforce for America Act" (H.R.6655)! The "Stronger Workforce for America Act" makes critical updates to the "Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act" (WIOA) that will increase the amount of skills development provided under the law, strengthen connections between employers and the workforce system, and put more American on the pathway to a successful career. 

The Immersive Technology for the American Workforce Act would establish a grant program for community colleges, career, and technical education centers to develop workforce education and training programs using immersive technology. It also recognizes the critical role immersive technology can play in supporting workforce development across all sectors. 

The XR Association worked closely with Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester and Representative Tim Walberg to introduce the "Immersive Technology for the American Workforce Act." It is essential that H.R.3211 be included in the larger workforce package. Encourage your representatives to advocate for this inclusion of the "Immersive Technology for the American Workforce Act of 2023" (H.R.3211) to the "Stronger Workforce for America Act" today!
