Congress is working on the spending bill for the Military. The Senate Armed Services Committee's version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) includes bad language that could endanger the Reconcilation Memorial's restoriation and also cause Jackson Circle to be renamed, which surrounds Section 16 that holds 300+ veteran and widow graves that the Memorial marked.
We must inoculate the Senate leadership NOT to include any Naming Commission related language in the 2027 NDAA.

USE YOUR VOICE:  TELL THE SENATE - STRIP SEC 356 FROM NDAA

I just heard about section 356 of S. 4784 and I'm writing to ask you to find a way to strip this provision from the NDAA

During this anniversary year, the last thing we need is to let the Southern Poverty Law Center and Senator Warren decide how we respect America's history.

I was very disappointed to hear that this provision made it out of committee.  We need your help to strip section 356 from the NDAA.  Weaponizing our history is wrong.  This is the 250th anniversary, let's respect and protect our history - all of it.

Strip Section 356 from the NDAA

The evil SPLC actively worked to weaponize our history for year.  Now that they have been exposed, it is time to put an end to their hateful, divisive agenda.  

Please strip Section 356 out of the NDAA and an other naming commission related agenda items.  Don't let Elizabeth Warren and the SPLC control what happens in our country.

NDAA:  America 250:  Section 356

You might not be aware of this but years ago, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote a report that called for the removal of Southern history in the Military.  

President Dwight D. Eisenhower deeply admired Robert E. Lee. He publicly listed Lee as one of the four "great Americans" in US history and famously kept a portrait of the Confederate general hanging in his White House.  Removing him from the history of our military deprives American's of an an important contribution and is pure cancel culture.

Removing the Reconciliation Memorial and the rest of the Naming Commission recommendations are right out of the SPLC playbook.

It is past time to let them be in charge of our military history.  As a veteran, I am offended by what has been done, and am asking you to strip Section 356 from the NDAA, and any similar provisions.
