The retail and restaurant industries were two of the hardest-hit sectors of the economy by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Even though restaurants experienced challenges comparable to those of retailers, Congress singled out restaurants for a direct aid program called the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. This program provides additional grant funding to restaurants to aid their economic recovery that they do not have to repay.
Discussions are underway in Washington about replenishing the RRF, and we need you to tell Congress to expand the eligible pool of recipients to include small retailers that have experienced similar challenges as restaurants.
Small retailers deserve the same opportunity as restaurants to rebuild their businesses and serve their communities. Tell Congress to continue funding the Restaurant Revitalization Fund and expand eligibility to small retailers today.
