I'm writing to express my strong support for the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) at the U.S. Small Business Administration. I respectfully request your support to reauthorize the STEP program and to help secure the full appropriation of $30 million in FY26. 

STEP is a key resource that helps small businesses sell their goods and services abroad, working to create more good paying jobs in the United States.

Since its creation in 2010, STEP has assisted thousands of small businesses to either start or expand their exports and has historically yielded a return on investment of over 40-1 in federal funds. This small investment helps small businesses continue to grow and create new jobs in the United States.

I encourage you to support the reauthorization of STEP and the full funding of $30 million. Thank you for your public service and commitment to small businesses.
