Tell Congress to Close the EPA Revolving Door
The foxes are guarding the hen house at the EPA! Fire the swamp and ban political appointments of industry lobbyists, executives and lawyers from regulatory positions

The EPA was created by Congress with the mission to protect human health and the environment. But is the EPA really protecting you, or is it protecting chemical industry profits?
A new deep-dive reveals that the "Revolving Door" has swung wide open in 2025. In an unprecedented move, all of the EPA’s top management positions were filled with former lobbyists and lawyers from the very industries they are supposed to regulate.
Lee Zeldin: A politician leading the agency with $400k+ in oil and gas industry backing. Under Zeldin, former lobbyists for the American Chemistry Council and Big Ag are now writing the rules on pesticides, PFAS "Forever Chemicals," formaldehyde, asbestos and more. Formaldehyde limits are being doubled, PFAS limits in drinking water are being rescinded, polluters are being let off the hook, forcing taxpayers to fund pollution cleanup, and toxic pesticides are getting a green light faster than ever before.
To be clear, there has always been a Revolving Door and the resulting corruption at the EPA, under past Democrat and Republican administrations alike. But what we witnessed in 2025 was a total takeover of the EPA by industry and the firing of scientists who normally serve as a bulwark against corruption by political appointees.
It’s time to stop the corruption and put scientists—not lobbyists—back in charge of our health.
Take Action: Demand that Congress close the revolving door and fire the industry hacks!
